Your privacy.
Clearly explained.
This notice explains how Blue Sky Windows Services Ltd uses information from website visitors, people making enquiries and customers.
Who is responsible?
Blue Sky Windows Services Ltd is the controller for the personal information described here. Company number 16539895. Address: Unit 54, Queens Court Trading Estate, Greets Green Road, West Bromwich, B70 9EG. For privacy questions or requests, email info@blueskywindowsservices.co.uk.
What information do we use?
The enquiry form collects your customer type, product interest, postcode, name and email. You can also provide a phone number, company and project notes. Correspondence may include addresses, measurements, photographs, drawings and order or aftercare information you send us.
Hosting systems can process technical connection and security logs, including IP addresses and request details. The enquiry service uses a hashed identifier derived from the IP address for short-term rate limiting. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your project.
Why do we use it?
- To answer enquiries, prepare quotations and arrange requested surveys: steps requested by you before a contract, where applicable.
- To fulfil orders and provide installation or aftercare: performance of our contract with you.
- To handle business-to-business contacts, correspondence, complaints, security and misuse prevention: our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business, balanced against your rights.
- To retain records where required by accounting, tax or other law: compliance with a legal obligation.
The enquiry form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.
Where does an enquiry go?
Website enquiries are stored in a private WordPress administration area and emailed to our team. Access is restricted to authorised users. Website hosting and email providers process information to operate these services. Relevant details may also need to be shared with those involved in fulfilling your order, such as product suppliers or installers, and with professional advisers or authorities where necessary.
We do not sell your enquiry information. If you need details of the providers or any international processing arrangements relevant to your information, contact us. Any transfer requiring safeguards must use an applicable lawful mechanism.
How long is information kept?
Retention depends on the purpose: whether your enquiry is active, whether it becomes an order, the period needed for delivery and aftercare, applicable accounting or legal record requirements, and the need to resolve a complaint or legal claim. Unnecessary information should not be retained indefinitely. Ask us about the retention criteria for your particular record.
Your choices and rights.
You can ask to access or correct your information. Depending on the circumstances, you can also request deletion, restriction or portability. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the email above to exercise a right; we may need information to verify your identity.
Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we need the required contact and project fields to respond meaningfully through the form. You can call us instead. Where consent is used for any separate processing, it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Questions or concerns.
Please contact us first if you have a privacy concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.
Our cookie policy explains the current website’s use of cookies and similar technologies. We update this notice if the way we use information changes.
